A little about Ms. Medina...
Hello Students and Parents,
Welcome to 7th grade! My name is Ms. Medina and I am excited to be your new Social Studies teacher at Millennium Middle School.
I was born in New York, but was brought up right here in Broward County. After graduating from Coral Springs High School, I attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton where I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. After graduating from FAU in 2006, I began teaching Social Studies and have loved every moment. During my time as a teacher I have earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instructions, as well as my Gifted Certification.
This year will launch my eleventh year as a classroom teacher, and I am thrilled to be a STAR. In my spare time I love to shop, read and spend time with my family.
I look forward to working with all of you this year as we discover our nations government!
